Ski Weekend Update

Summer is here!

Winter 2007/2008 is finally over. A very successful season that will be remembered for lots of snow right from the first weekend in December all the way through to the May bank holiday.

Now that the summer is here at Ski Weekend we don't just put our feet up and wait for the next snow....

The skis may have gone back in the garage but the walking boots and mountain bikes are now being dusted off for the coming season.

Have a look at our summer programme on our sister site www.nodeckchair.com.

Walking, biking and activity short breaks based in Chamonix and beyond.

If you haven't been to the Alps in the summer before then now is the time to visit!

Chamonix is more relaxed outside of winter without the rush for the first lift in the morning - warm sunny days, cool evenings and plenty to keep you entertained.

Ski AllWeek ::: Corporate ::: Incentives and Rewards

Our first corporate clients came to Ski Weekend way back in 1987, before we really had any idea what it was all about! We could deal with the skiing, but the group organisation was something special. We have learned a lot in the last 18 years. However many of our corporate clients from the early days are still skiing with us. One company has used the same venue for the last 10 years - their guests remain committed in ensuring that they do business with our client to ensure a place on the guest list for the following winter!

The accessibility of our resorts from the UK and through the international airport gateways of Geneva and Zurich have enabled major companies to bring guests, employees and delegates to the Alps from all over the world.

Why a mountain venue?
• With Geneva, Zürich and Milan acting as global gateways, the French, Italian and Swiss Alps are perfect destinations for corporate meetings, incentive trips and Client hospitality.

• The exhilarating surroundings and mind-sharpening mountain air can crystallise Thinking and breathe new life into management, staff and clients alike.

• Conversations over lunch and dinner, and getting to know your clients on neutral territory, increase the possibilities of successful partnerships.

• Our resorts are ideal for groups of six to more than 160 and suit experienced skiers or complete novices.

• Travel, both in the summer and winter, to Zurich and Geneva is easier than getting to many other destinations, even in the UK.

• Venues and activities designed around your requirements, but using the amazing mountain scenery and fresh air to invigorate and refresh your clients or staff.

Throughout the winter months when we are hosting clients, we create programmes to suit not just the alpine activities and skiing, but also look after any guests who might not wish to ski.

Cultural visits
For the non-skier (or muscle-weary!) we regularly visits and activities to: local salt mines, thermal pools and baths, art galleries, guided visits to famous historic towns such as Martingy, Annecy, and Courmayeur, horse drawn sleigh rides, helicopter and hot air balloon flights, as well as providing a range of in house beauty treatments. One of the favourites is to simply join the skiers for lunch and enjoy the sunshine and mountain air followed up by an afternoon relaxing with a good book!
