Ski Midweek ::: Weekends ::: Early And Late Season

We Can Do It! - Early / Late Season

One of the best kept secrets in skiing seems to be the great opportunities for good value weekends on fantastic snow at the beginning and end of the season.

Early Season
From the first weekend of December until Christmas we will ski in a range resorts within two hours of Geneva.

Often it is the case that there will be great snow in one area and very little only just down the road. We have never offered a snow guarantee in one resort, but we have always made it our policy to take our clients to the best available snow in the area.

Our resort staff and vehicles are always ready for an early start. We can quickly respond to changes in the ski conditions as they occur.

Late Season
We concentrate our late season programme in Chamonix. Last year over one-and-a-half meters of snow fell in April. The resort traditionally closes after the first weekend in May.

With most of its skiing above 2,000m and north-facing, the season inevitability ends leaving vast areas of perfect snow. Some of the best skiing of the season can be found in glorious spring sunshine on the slopes of the Grands Montets. The longer spring days mean there is no need to get up at day break.

The early spring does offer the best combination of winter on the slopes and spring in the valley. It is very easy to ski in the morning and spend the afternoon playing tennis, mountain biking, or a round of golf on Chamonix’s 18 hole course.

Value Weekends
Prices are at their lowest in late season. The greater availability of flights and accommodation allows us to offer you more choice. And the resorts are at their quietest and most relaxing.
