So much snow this winter.

This winter is turning into another classic. There is already talk of this being the best snow year for a decade. It is still very cold in the Alps and we have huge quantities of snow, so the season will last well past Easter and into May.
With the late season in mind we are planning and end of season celebration. Click on the link for more infomation on an action packed weekend.

Gulmarg Kashmir, skiing in the Himalayas.

With so much snow in Europe and so little in Kashmir our decision to go to the Himalayas with a group of  guests was looking questionable,  right up to the day before we left.

Whichever God we were all praying to certainly heard us. Have you ever seen so much snow? Have you seen monkeys in the trees by the piste? Have you ever had a Char Walla bring tea to your snow buried cottage? Take a look, it could be you next year. Click more, then adventure and Kashmir for more details.

Sass Fee Freeride 15-19 April 2010

Following a very successful trip to Saas 2 seasons ago, the plan is to use the high north facing slopes to maximum advantage for late season ski touring and couloir skiing.
Saas Fee has some very interesting glacier terrain within touring access (2-3hours) of the lifts.
There will also be an opportunity to bag a couple of 4000m peaks. If the group was so disposed and conditions permitted, a day with a helicopter could be organised.
