About ski weekend
Established in 1987
At Ski Weekend we’ve always believed a weekend’s skiing is the most exhilarating short break in the world, provided you get the details right. That means getting the travel and accommodation right so that you get onto the best slopes as quickly as possible. And that’s what we set out to achieve for every client every time.
Approaching our 40 year anniversary, we’ve been running well organised, tailor-made, high quality flexible ski weekends in a selection of top Alpine resorts. We offer flights, express transfers and well located, high quality accommodation in centres where we have excellent relationships with our hoteliers, equipment hirers, guides and instructors.
We have an unrivalled understanding of the short break skiing market. With an emphasis on personal service, our experience, knowledge and excellent facilities ensure that, when you ski with us, you know you’re in the hands of experts.
As architects of the short break skiing concept – and authors of the phrase ‘maximum time on the slopes, minimum time off work’ – we can legitimately claim to know precisely what we’re doing.
We’re sure you’ll agree once you’ve had a successful weekend skiing with us.
We look forward to your stay.

It's our people who make the difference
your resort manager
You’ll first meet your resort manager at the airport. He or she will then travel with you to your hotel. En route you’ll be given advice on our ski orientation programme in Chamonix and the best places to ski on your first day. If you have pre-booked an instructor or mountain guide, you’ll be given his or her name, and arrangements will be made for you to meet as soon as possible.
The transfer will take you straight to your hotel. Depending on your time of arrival, we will have organised either a late dinner or, if you’re half-board guests, supper in your rooms. If you’ve chosen our bed and breakfast option, we will be able to recommend the best local restaurants.
Your resort manager will deliver your ski passes early the next morning and arrange for ski and boot hire. They’ll also give you the latest news on snow conditions and the best places to ski, and make arrangements for private tuition or other activities, including mountain guiding and heli-skiing. They’ll have plenty of ideas about great bars and night life.
