Chamonix and Dynastar have announced that they are releasing a limited edition ski this winter in the colours of our favourite valley.
Using the resort’s strapline ‘Open the Way’, the collaboration is an all-mountain ski, specially designed to handle the varied terrain of the Chamonix Valley.
The claim is that it has all the attributes to take on the legendary slopes of Chamonix, including the Vallée Blanche, Grands Montets, and Verte des Houches.
Hybrid Core 2.0 Technology
The new ski uses Dynastar’s Hybrid Core 2.0 technology, improves the ski’s performance, and also reducing its environmental impact, thanks to lessened use of fibres and glue. By 2025, Dynastar is anticipating that 43% of its skis will be manufactured with using this technology.
The ‘Open the Way’ Dynastar/Chamonix model has dimensions of 126-94-118 and is available in lengths of 162cm to 186cm.
A limited number of skis will be on sale this winter for around €600 in Chamonix shops, as well as on the Dynastar website.
