Ski Weekend were delighted to meet Olympian Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards recently.
We met Eddie at an event organised by Exe Events, ‘An evening with Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards’.
'Drive, determination, inspiration and motivation'
When Eddie took part in the 1988 Calgary Olympics, he became the first person to represent Great Britain in the Ski Jump at the Winter Olympics since 1928.
His story is that of drive, determination, inspiration and motivation and is one that should be heard. Eddie has a remarkable character with a real indomitable spirit.
Ski Weekend were proud to be supporting the event and took the opportunity to meet Eddie in person. Doug from Ski Weekend and his children are shown meeting Eddie below:
