New Children's Book: 'Mark the Mountain Guide'

We are delighted to see that Chamonix guide Mark Seaton has recently published a new children’s book, ‘Mark the Mountain Guide'.

Regular guests with Ski Weekend will know Chamonix ski guide Mark Seaton.

Mark is one of the most experienced ski guides in the Chamonix valley and we have worked with him on our backcountry courses and adventures over many years.

Mark the Mountain Guide

That’s why we were delighted to see that Mark has recently published a new children’s book, ‘Mark the Mountain Guide’ (now updated from the 2011 edition).

The book tells of the escapades at the ‘Marmot Mountaineering School’ following an avalanche. Mark leads his students on a thrilling adventure via Grumpy Gorge, across the Sorbet Glacier, over the Applestrudelhorn back to their home.

Recommended for children who love the mountains

We’ve read ‘Mark the Mountain Guide’ and can highly recommend it for anyone with young children that love the mountains and want to enjoy a great story that will help them find out more about this wonderful domain.

Mark’s book is illustrated beautifully by Brooke Kerrigan and is available to buy on Mark’s website for £14.99
