Privacy Policy

On the 25 May 2018 new data protection regulations came into force. As a responsible business it has always been a priority to safe guard our clients personal data and we have updated our privacy statement in line with the new regulation should you wish to review what information we collect, why it’s collected and how it's used. As a client of Ski Weekend, you will continue to hear from us occasionally with exciting new products and services, as well as news from resort such as weather conditions and topical blogs or videos.

At Ski Weekend we are committed to maintaining the relationships we have built with our clients. Part of this relationship includes trust and Sue, Gavin and the team want to reassure you that we’re in the business of ski and travel experiences, and not data or mailing lists. We have never or ever will sell, trade or rent any of our clients’ data or email addresses to other companies for marketing or any other purposes, nor do we actively acquire such information. When you book a ‘Ski Weekend’ or sign up to a newsletter we collect personal data, such as an email address, but also information necessary for travel purposes (eg. passport information). This is a requirement for our operations and the industry we are in. When sending newsletters, we normally use the Mailchimp email service to deliver this news to you and as part of this, we monitor how many of you open the email and which parts you find interesting. We do this so we can refine and improve what we send to you. You can find out more about the Mailchimp privacy policy on their website. Ski Weekend actively promote the spirit and letter of the new regulations with all internal processes and policies in place, and we ensure all our suppliers adhere to them too. We therefore require all third parties who work with us to respect the security of the data we hold and to treat it in accordance with EU law. Should you wish to view or amend any of the personal data that we hold please email your request to our Data Controller (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) at any time. Although the new general data protection regulations came into effect on the 25th May 2018 we will continue to review and monitor our compliance on a regular basis as we actively strive towards our social and legal responsibilities as a business operating within the EU.
