New Rooms and Suites at the Pointe Isabelle Hotel

Regular visitors to Chamonix may have missed the fact that the Pointe Isabelle Hotel was renovated and developed last summer.

Building work on this project began in 2019, the 3-star Pointe Isabelle Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Chamonix.

The new wing is located at the rear of the existing building and features 27 new rooms, including several suites and a gym area and was built in the existing style.

An additional floor had also been added to include a sauna and garden with breathtaking views of the mountains of Chamonix.

Designed by local architects

In a bid to be more environmentally friendly, the hotel has also used this opportunity to exchange its oil heating for gas and has also replaced all the existing windows to improve thermal insulation.

The project was overseen by local architects Chevallier and the interior decoration created by a Scandinavian designer.

Visit the Point Isabelle

The Pointe Isabelle is named after Isabella Straton, one of the pioneering British mountaineers and who in 1876 became the first woman to make a winter ascent of Mont Blanc.
