Chamonix has always been at the forefront of the drive towards sustainability in the mountains.

Earlier this month, we hosted our 22nd ‘Warm Up Weekend’ in Chamonix. 

It was a chance to be the first to enjoy the winter’s snow and despite Chamonix coming in as a late replacement for Val d'Isère (whose winter opening was delayed), there were no disappointed faces among our guests.

Located at the foot of Europe’s highest mountain, Mont Blanc (4809m), Chamonix has been a destination for travellers since the 18th century, hundreds of years before any ski lifts existed.
